To some longterm, and valued members of the BRHL who are stepping down.
Cal Goulet (SJ)
Wow, it's been awhile. From turning down your first trade when you were giving away Modano, to watching you build the Sharks into a power, ultimately your man crush on Vesa Toskala probably cost you a championship or two :-) I've had the pleasure to meet Cal, and he's a wicked guy, and a pleasure to have dealt with him for so long. I wish you nothing but the best Cal, I hope things go great for Katja, yourself and the little one(s).
Norm Donovan (LA)
Norm was in the first league I was ever in, and that was 16 years ago I believe (wow thats almost depressing). From the Stallions-Mounties rivalry (actually I sucked, he crushed me, unless Darren Puppa was starting!), to finally convincing him to join the BRHL. The Kings are primed for a deep run this year, and sentimentally, I am cheering for them. Best of luck Norm, I hope things go well and one day you find your way back to the BRHL.
Tyler Rumpel (Edm)
Always sad when we lose a Bruin fan. Luckily we will still be dealing with you in the BRHL2. Tyler's had the Oilers for awhile now and the team is in much better shape than when he took over. Your contibutions and participation will be missed.
A sad offseason for the BRHL losing some longterm members, but we are close to filling up most open spots, trading should open by the end of the weekend if I get everything wrapped up, and we can start getting through the offseason in a timely fashion.
