I know a few of those names from my dealings with GMs, some have been in offers that the GM never got back to me on.... but the majority haven't been given any offers.... i'll have more time tomorrow to find out who has been given what, but I'll hold off publishing that list until Bryce or Jesse rules on it

Where did you find this list from? Anyways, i'm okay with letting all those Buffalo guys go to UFA.
Not sure how you guys usually keep FA organized in past years, but I think it would help to have a master free agent list posted that includes ALL players with expiring contracts....(can the sim generate that master list?) And then as the players get signed up or qualified, the names are checked off that master list....
And from that master list, it would be so much easier for whoever is running free agency to keep track of the free agent list and keep track of who is available for bidding, and who is not....
It's pretty crazy to see so many new potential free agent names pop up after free agency open bidding has already started....
Also, I think we should think about having a deadline for RFA resignings.....do we really want agents to be negotiating past the free agent bidding period and into the season? Those free agents that are 'under negotation' should be available in the RFA pool for bidding....

I wish I would've known about these guys... I certainly would've bid on some, I'm at 50 players now though.

I would suspect that alot of those are players who are awaiting ELC's
Due to the fact that UFA was poorly and hastily put together this year (by me), we will likely have a mini batch of UFA later in teh offseason. I know a bunch of those players listed are in negotiations that have not reached a conclusion yet.

1. Very few of them are guys that are actually awaiting ELCs...
2. If a player isn't signed before UFA starts, the player becomes a UFA (or an RFA if the player was qualified)... irrespective of whether a negotiation has started...

What's the story on Tomas Kaberle? Is he a RFA that is still 'under negotiation'?
I was just scanning the recent trades, and saw that New Jersey recently traded him....and couldn't find anywhere about his resign.

hm... for the record, I sent my RFA offers in twice before the start of UFA. I know player agents are busy so I'm waiting patiently for them to get back to me. I would be a little pissed if my patience caused me the services of these players...
thanks, Ricky.

Remember, if you are frustrated about the lack of responses from Ken, you can send me the guys... I'm a bit busy today, but I'll get around to them ASAP

Kyle Calder is in the RFA list. He's not a UFA.

All my guys had contracts sent about a month ago to Ken and since he's been busy they've been sent to Gareth for approval.

I would suggest that guys with names J though R (guys for which Ken was responsible), are given until Friday to be signed.
As for the others, unless the player agent messed up somehow, they should become UFAs (or RFAs if they were qualified).

Thing is, I don't recall anyone ever setting a hard deadline on RFA's (or did i miss something?) so these guys need to be given some time to sign.

How long are teams going to be given? In the past UFA/RFA never started before the deadline for signing players.
