Guys if you have comments or concerns about bids, time frames, injustices and the like... PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING IT IN THE UFA FORUM! Feel free to post on the main boards, send us a pm or what have you. We are doing our best but obviously we have a had a few wrinkles. Lets try and keep this running smoothly. I know some guys are feeling picked on or left out in the cold but we are trying to keep everyone happy. Ken is getting bombarded unfairly as he and I work through this UFA. It is the first year of this process and we are doing our best. Keep that in mind. We have a great league with a fantastic group of 30 gms. We all are trying to do the best for our own teams but also we need to try and do the best for the league. Thank you.

I have taken my complete lack of success in this year's UFA bidding with a solemn, quiet dignity.

Actually you want to know my bitch.
And it will come back to haunt the select few that have done so, but those GMs who have pretty much shelled out MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of their cash on signing bonuses. I mean it's great if you are NJ or Philly with a ton of cash but with less than $10M you have to spend wisely. I sure do expect some GREAT articles to come my way!
Teams with less than $10M or less cash: San Jose ($10,834,328) Phoenix ($6,199,760) Minnesota ($5,801,682) Vancouver ($2,329,270)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calgary ($3,299,219)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chicago ($8,511,510) Washington ($9,524,816) Florida ($4,178,501) Buffalo ($7,566,535)

The Canucks while still in a re-building mode are still trying to be competitive and for that we always had a team salary of $35 mill with little revenu coming back, that's the only reason we have so little in the bank. During the season i don't have time to write super large articles to make extra cash. So i live with the fact i will never be able to offer a $15 million SB any time soon.

10,834,328 how is that less than 10 million. Good math Ken Funny you identify my team when I have less than 1 million less than you in money and my cap hit aint a whole lot more so if I am in bad shape you are not much better. I also like my chances better than yours at making the playoffs and recouping that money. I had over 18 million and spent 7.3 million in bonuses. I still have over 10 million (close to 11) and it is very unlikely that I lose 10 million this year considering I have 3 - 80 ov players to help bring in the revenue. 8 teams in the league have less money than me and most of the ones with more didnt even come close to matching the quality of free agents that I brought in.

Actually I should have more money too. I had $19,734,328 at the end of the playoffs (check this link for verification www.brhlhockey.com/brhl/BRHLPLFFinance.html). I sent Buffalo 800k for a draft pick and got 800k from Carolina when we swapped draft picks at the draft. Other than that I have not moved any cash in any deals. I paid out 3 million to Selanne in SB and then 4.3 million to Foote. When you subtract that from the total above I should have then had 12,434,328 after my signing bonuses. I currently have $10,834,328. Where did my other 1.6 million go?

Actually I bet I know what happened to make me 1.6 million short. When I dealt with Buffalo the money correctly went from SJ to Buff, however when I dealt with Carolina and should have been getting 800k instead 800k was sent from Carolina to me. So I should probably be getting 1.6 million from Carolina as he would now be 1.6 million over.
However unless there is the trade history that far (which I cant see on the page) we probably cant do anything about Carolina, but I should still get my 1.6 million back. I want my money in 24 hrs or else........
