Compensation for signing a RFA are as follows as outlined in our rules: * $400,000 to $599,999 = 5th Round Draft Pick (Current Year or the following) * $600,000 to $999,999 = 4th Round Draft Pick (Current Year or the following) * $1,000,000 to $1,999,999 = 3rd Round Draft Pick (Current Year or the following) * $2,000,000 to $2,999,999 = 2nd Round Draft Pick (Current Year) * $3,000,000 to $3,999,999 = 1st Round Draft Pick (Current Year) * $4,000,000 to $4,999,999 = 1st & 2nd Round Draft Picks (BOTH Current Year) * $5,000,000 + = Three 1st Round Draft Picks (One of the picks MUST be from the Current Year) * * You can make a bid on an RFA player under $2,000,000 if you have at least a pick in that range in either Year 11 or Year 12. For a player $2,000,000 or over you must have a YEAR 11 pick. * DO NOT MAKE AN RFA OFFER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED COMPENSATION. * Having GMs eligible to received compensation for either Year 11 or Year 12 picks might encourage more activity. Any objections? Fringe players at best here and if you don't like it, easily match the offer sheet.
