Is anyone curious why Zetterberg received the Conn Smythe Trophy over Osgood? I know he's a great 2-way player...but so is Hossa (1 point in trail overall with 2 games less)...no im not saying a penguin deserved it...cause the winning team should earn it...but Osgood had 2 shutouts...a 1 goal game...and a 3OT fight with Fleury...because he was behind Hasek they won this year...correct me if i'm wrong...but does anyone else disagree with who the MVP really was?

I think it was a draw between the two. Personally I would've given it to Osgood, but I don't think I can argue their decision. Both had better series and playoffs than the rest.

Osgood had moments of shakiness. Wings didn't need him to steal games all playoffs. Zetterberg was an all around dynamo. Well deserved.

i would have picked lidstrom. defense wins cups and he was stifling. sid and malkin were well contained by babcock consistently having nik and rafalskI matched up...
