I dont have near as much time and money to travel as I would like. A lot of the travelling I have done was while I lived in Europe or on my trips to/from Finland to visit Katjas family. Since 2004 I have not had that many trips, Cuba, Costa Rica, and Finland/England.
I have had some luck travelling. When I went to Cyprus it was a last minute deal, My girlfriend and I spent 180$ each for our roundtrip flights to Larnaca from Sweden and that included our hotel for 1-week, which had a kitchenette. When I went to Switzerland it was through my University in Uppsala as I got to attend Peace and Conflict seminars at the UN, much of the cost was paid by the University. In France I was visitting two different friends in Marsaille and Caen/Fleer before heading to Paris to meet up with my girlfriend and staying at her friends place. Poor me stuck in an apartment the size of my living room with 5 Finnish girls for 4 days. Holland was also a layover of one night and day due to difficulties with my plane. Airline put me up and I got to explore. Bad luck turned in to good that time.
But I have travelled everywhere I have been (except BC) in the last 7 years since I was 20. My family didnt travel at all.

Haven't done as much traveling lately but I have done my fair share. Haven't gone past Alberta and B.C. in Canada, but have been all over Mexico and Hawaii, have gone to Cuba and spent time in Havana and Veradero while I was there. Have been to Paris, London, Madrid and Lisbon on School trips which was a lot of fun. I think next on the list is Italy or Sweden, although with family work and child finding time won't be easy.

Geez, I feel so isolated. Where do you all get the time and money to go visit so many places?!?! A lot of the US places I travelled to when I was playing in a band and touring. My wife is a corporate lawyer and gets 3 weeks of vacation a year so we like to plan trips exotic and not so exotic...Last year Africa, this year Thailand/Cambodia...sometimes we just like to go to a familiar place like Montreal though..
