Does anyone here work out, and what's your routine. I need to get into shape myself. I'm 6'2" 225lbs. Can't run worth shit.
If many of you may recall January of this year through March I was doing a practicum with the New Westminster Police Service. Mainly research for their school liaison program. Myself and another student were assigned to the task. The other student applied while he was there and was hired on. He's been at the Justice Institute training since April. Now, yesterday and today I've seen him in full uniform, with a sidearm driving around on calls. A full fledged cop... Pisses me off to see him exceed so well while I still am a lolely security guard.... I've got my motivation... now I need some guidance or ideas...

Well you already have one major advantage on lots of people Ken.. from what I've read, you seem to eat very well.
My best suggestion for someone wanting to work on their cardio is to get involved in sports. From personal experience, I would rather go play hockey for an hour and a half rather than run around a block for 45 minutes. Sports tend to make your heart work harder as well (your heart rate goes up and down a lot more than a steady jogger of 45 minutes).
Another thing I used to do on a regular basis until I got lazy was skip. You can get a really good rope for anywhere between 10-20 bucks. If you could somehow throw in a few minutes of skipping into ur daily routine, it would make a big difference.. few minutes may not sound like a lot until you try skipping for 15 minutes.
I don't really think weight lifting would be a good idea unless it was combined with your cardio. For example, if you could skip in the mornings when you wakeup, play a sport 1-2 times per week and hit the gym 2-3 times a week would be the most ideal thing fot you. but lets face it, you probably don't have the time to do something like that.
Meh.. just a start.. I'm kind of excited to hear WHL Bryce's fitness plan

My fitness plan currently revolves around Raspberry Viva Puffs and playing lots of World of Warcraft. So far it hasn't been terribly successful but I'll give it another few months to be absolutely sure.
