Well, the poll is not what is your favourite salty snack (mmm peppered beef jerky)... nor was it what is your favourite chip-style snack... it is what is your favourite potatoe chip flavour. Potatoe chips are, belive it or not, made with potatoes (or if you eat Pringles something like potatoes but not really)... Doritoes are not made of potatoes but rather corn. They are a corn chip. Not potatoe. Hence not included. Way to participate in a fun meaningless poll...

Personally, if I do have potatoe chips (I prefer Pretzels usually) it will be those delicious Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar Ms Vickies brand chips. I don't know if they are available in the States, but they are delicious. Speaking of which, I remember being Hawaii one year and looking for a bag of chips and noticed they didn't have Salt and Vinegar anywhere I looked. I asked my Dad and he said it's not a popular flavour in the States. He said it's either Ripple of BBQ. I have always thought of S&V to be one of the bigger selling flavours... thoughts?

Im the Hickory Sticks vote, although my absolute favourite chip type snack is Cheetos, which Im not sure what the hell they are made of.
But Im a chip freak. It is my weakness. They do not have nearly as many potatoe chip flavours in the States as we do here in Canada. Really only as Lays has started to have more and more have they had more chips while we have always had Old Dutch and before Lays bought them out in Canada Hostess (not that odd that Lays started having more flavours after buying hostess). Ripple chisp were only introduced in 1993 in the US, BBQ in 1994, Chedder and Sour Cream is a new lays chip last year in the US and we have had an Old Dutch Sour Cream and Chedder for a long time. (Note although Im a chip freak, I didnt just know that stuff, I went to the Lays site, I did however know that they do not have many flavours the poor deprived people).

Anyone who voted for Ketchup Chips should be dragged out into the street and shot in the head. Especially Bryce.
Awful.

Have you guys tried the lemon and pepper chips of Miss Vicki's? They're pretty wicked awesome as well.
