I realize this is pointless bitching, as I could solve the issue myself and just stop. But...
Did anyone sign up for the mobile alert draft coverage from NHL.com? I was planning on being out last night, so I signed up for it. It was free for Bell customers (CAN) or Verizon (US). I know Verizon has free texting for their customers, to other customers. so this doesn't count against mine.
I signed up for my 3 teams to get alerts. PIT, EDM and MIN. I think total they had about 24-26 picks. give or take a few. To the minute, I've received 86 text messages with a tleast duplicates for each alert. Sometimes as much as 6.
I know how to stop the issue, and solve the problem. But at the same time I'd like to be informed. So I've just been looking at my phone every 10 minutes. longest span between messages has been about 25 minutes.
Anyone else share the same experience?
