I am planning on driving up to Toronto during the first week of the year. I've always wanted to go to the HHOF.
I would be interested in going to a game while in the Toronto/Buffalo area. I don't want to go to a leafs game, cause there will be alot of leafs fans there.
Can you guys help me? What leagues/teams are in that area that would be worth going to see?

There will be a lot of Leaf fans no matter where you go in Ontario ... even if you drove all the way up to Ottawa. We are an ever growing, single-minded, ravenous horde - oblivious to the outside world and fixated on our collective never-ending hunger for a goal always just beyond our grasp. GO LEAFS GO!

As the resident Canadian in this league...
I'll let you know, Toronto is a nice city. Buffalo isn't anything except the sports teams. And you better expect 5 inches of snow when driving through BUF at that time of the year. It's the one constant remaining in this world.
You'll be able to kill plenty of time in Toronto doing normal stuff up there.
I've been to every major Canadian city on the Eastern side, and they're all nice. Except for Quebec City. Ottawa is just like a typical American City with Senators and Leaf supporters. But the big difference is that most Canadian cities are clean, clean, clean.
Buffalo is pretty much just like Pittsburgh. It has that Eastern-Europen feel to it. Dark, gloomy and nothing special.
So if I were you I'd only go to BUF for a hockey game. and TOR for everything else.
