Layoff hurts, Pisanni gets a hatrick but it's not enough for Rod's Squad 6-3 Canes Staal gets 2 points and Stillman gets two goals . . . Brind'Amour pots the winner.

It aint even close to over yet. Yeah they blew the lead, and Rollie goind down is huge. If he is out it just turned this hill in to Everest. I beleive they will come back though and still have it in them to win. 6 with Rollie, 7 without.

Juice better start taking some "Juice" or the Oilers will be in trouble, I'm sure someone in Edmonton knows who to get in touch with Barry Bonds.

Gee, going to be interesting to see how a team performs without their #1 goalie? Hmmm... *cough* This sounds so familiar to a Canucks fan....

For all of Clouts short comings in the playoffs he has had the most 30 win seasons by a goalie not named Brodeur in the last 4years or so.

He sucks, he can't handle the #1... or so the way it went for Oilers fans bashing Cloutier in 2003/04 post season. And name me the last outright #1 goalie in Edmonton... hmmm gotta go all the way back to Cujo eh! LOL Pot meet kettle.

k, I dont normally get in to yours and Bryces pissing contests about the Oilers/Canucks. I do however usually defend the Oilers.
Rollo has proven in these playoffs that he is a legitimate number one. The reaon him and Fernandez were platooned in Minny was because they were both good enough to be #1's. I wouldnt say having a player rammed in to you and jamming you in to the post bending in ways that are not possible for anyone short of a Chinese acrobat would suggest that he was injury prone. I realise yours was an attempt at turning the tables but at least make it truthful.
The last outright #1 goalie. Well Id say that was Salo who prior to the 2002 Olympics was a terrific goalie who kept the Oilers in more games than they had business being in and stole plenty of games.

Me suggestion is that Cloutier got injured in the 2003/04 playoffs and Auld stood tall as best he could in some double/triple overtime games. Conklin in 3 minutes of work was pathetic. And when Cloutier got injured this season he all-of-a-sudden sucks (72ov)...
