WOW, San Jose bent em over with this one....Bruins had to cut cap though, althoug husually you dont do that with the franchise player. Friggin O'Connell.
No wonder no-one in Boston cares about this team anymore, they frustrate the hell out of me and I live accross the continent
(for those that don't know I am a lifelong Bruins fan) My first sons name will be Cameron, so I can call him Cam. Shockingly enough my wife agreed to this.

wow, wow. Im pretty shocked, two teams within a year trade two of the best young players in the game. ATL- Heatley, BOS- Thorton, and I think you can make a case for OTT- Hossa. before this year, your rarely saw that. but, wow, I'm in shock. Thorton is obviously the best player in the NHL (not saying that cause I have him or anything) and for the Bruins to trade him. I like what the Bruins got in return, not what It take for me to trade Thorton. But I;ve been a fan of all 3 of those players they got for a while. Primeau has turned into a better center than when he was here with the Penguins. Seems like a tweener of a 3rd line guy, but has the occasional streak to get things done. Sturm is sold. But, Stuart. I think probably the next best defenseman in the NHL. Time will tell, maybe this will do more harm then good. but right now its looking like SJ stole christmas from all the little bruin fans wearing #19 sweaters...

(I just noticed I started this thread in the wrong place .. whoops)
But for the record I still can't believe Thorton was sent as far away as possible (maybe that's why boston settled for less)

Well it looks like the trade is working so far for the B's Strum has two points and Stuart has one . . and the Bruins are up 2-0 on Ottawa with 5 minutes left in the second.
