All of playoff should do... I would think harsher punishment is acceptable to set sample however.

I think the decision was too drastic. Precedent was set with the Anderson-Beukeboom suspension, which was not followed in this case. He should have been hurt more in the pocket and permitted to play with his clubs for the playoffs.
I understand the decision, the motivation - anything less would have the media and some fans alike screaming blue murder . . . however I do not agree with it.

They can't fine him more, the CBA doesn't allow it.
I think this was at least what he shoulda got, I say a year like McSorley, but this is acceptable.
The Johnson-Beukeboom reference is a decent one, but Johnson didn't jump on Beukeboom's back and drive his head to the ice, plus it wasn't premediated, where Bertuzzi's was.
The NHL just got some more respect from many markets, by sending a message it wont tolerate that.
Crappy for Nucks fans cause with Sanderson and Rucinsky, they coulda made a run at it.

either a year, or till Moore comes back, if that. Moore will be back skating in 6 weeks according to reports. He is already walking.
