There is going to be a BRHL All-Star game held on December 3rd. The All-Star break will be from Nov. 25-29 since I'll be on Thanksgiving break and will be unable to sim. After Nov. 24th's games the GMs of the All-Star teams will be finalized and notified. The will have about a week to finalize a roster. There will be atleast one representative per team. I will finalize a ballot pretty soon. The ballot will determine the starting lineup and it is up to the All-Star teams' GMs along with me to determine the rest of the team, which will be based on by performance so far. There will be 23 players named to each team, 13 forwards, 7 defensemen and 3 goalies. The GMs of the All-Star teams will be the GMs leading their respective conference at the All-Star break. Teams will be done by conference(East vs. West) and not by nationality(North Americans vs. World). There will be a Young Stars game which will be held the night before the All-Star game. It will include players age 25 and under, who are not already participating in the All-Star game. The Young Stars teams will be 20 players, 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies. The GMs of these teams will be Garrett Hansford and Kelly Morrow the GMs of the teams who made it to the BRHL Stanley Cup last season. MVPs of each game will earn 1 million dollars for their BRHL GM and the winning team's GM will earn 1 million dollars. Injured players cannot participate in the game, but injuries that occur in the All-Star games they will not carry over into the BRHL season. It will be mandatory for each GM to vote for players. That should be it, there might be more news to come later. But I will be in contact with the necessary GMs and I will probably finalize an All-Star ballot by this weekend. Any questions, comments or suggestions please contact me.

Due to unforseeable delays, the Young Stars game will be held the same day as the All-Star game. I will sim the games Wednesday at around 830 and will post the results shortly after.

Wow... 4th in the conference and one whole representative... looks like whoever picked the teams wanted the best ratings instead of looking at how players are actually performing this year... same thing happened in the "young stars" game

Personally I voted based on the "individual leader". I wonder if people vote based on names *shrug*

From what I saw, the people who did vote. They voted for pretty much the same players. The position with the most diversity was the Eastern Conference goalie. 4-5 goalies had atleast 2 votes, and PHI's Sean Burke only needed 4 or 5 votes(I can't remember the exact #) to solidify a spot on the starting lineup.
Some of the reason why some players might have been left out was due to the fact that every team needed to have a representative. Some questionable picks were made. But on the other hand the players who were invited did deserve to go.
As far as taking 2-3 goalies, you can't have a complete roster without having atleast 2 goalies. and adding a 3rd would allow for a team to have a representative

From what I understand of simming allstar games, in order to get all three goalies into the game you have to sim three different sets of games. You play your starting goalie in game 1, the 2nd in game 2, and the 3rd in game three. THEN you take the first period from game 1, the 2nd from game 2, and the third from game 3, and that's the all star game...
