Rumors are swirling out of Vancouver that Dominic Moore and his agent have requested to be shopped around. He recently signed a new three year 2.25 mil contract in the off-season but with obvious signs of rebuilding in Vancouver, he has now indicated he wishes to join a team with aspirations of post season play. GM Irvine has confirmed that he indeed has had talks with Moore's agent and is now in the process of fielding offers for the 31 year-old veteran. "Listen, Dom is a quality guy. He's a face-off artist, defensive specialist, plays a hard-nosed style, and can cover all three forward positions. He's a hard guy to replace because he does all the little things so well. We have no plans of just giving him away regardless if he wants to move on. I've always been a player's GM and will do everything I can to move him but the return has to make sense for our club." Moore was originally traded to the Canucks for Owen Nolan and a 4th rounder. It is said that the Canucks are looking for something of equal value in return.
