[glow=red,2,300]Rd 1-3 Entry Draft - October 11 @ 8:30pm EST Rd 4-7 Entry Draft - October 12 @ 8:30pm EST
UFA/RFA Bidding Opens - October 17th
Regular Season Begins - November 7th[/glow]
No preseason due to time, and the fact hardly anyone actually uses it for anything.
We are still hopeful the portal will be up and running soon. The designer of the portal has been working on getting it running for us for 2 weeks now, so keep your fingers crossed.
Chatroom for the draft will be posted as soon as I have it.

Trades/Signings/Finances should all be caught up. I will be sorting through the various issues posted tomorrow and get them all updated, as well as output the draft order. I did the lottery randomly (through Excel) and the stupid Hurricanes won. So no change from final standings.

HERE IS THE DRAFT ROOM INFO. I tested an online, nondownloadable, java version this afternoon with no problems: BRHL2DRAFT: irc.netsplit.de/webchat/?net=IrCQ-Net&room=%23BRHL2DRAFTBRHL2CHAT: irc.netsplit.de/webchat/?net=IrCQ-Net&room=%23BRHL2CHATClick those and it should prompt you to a window in which you just enter in your Username (name you want to be viewed by). -------- For use in mIRC (Preferred): The server to use when joining via IRC is: IrCQ-Net: Random Server After connecting to that server, join rooms #BRHL2DRAFT and #BRHL2CHAT --------- We'll use the BRHL2CHAT room, to chat. while BRHL2DRAFT will be strictly for drafting. It makes thing much easier on the people running the draft. - PLEASE test those steps prior to 8:30pm EST on Tuesday. I will not be able to help everyone get into the rooms at the beginning of the draft. - If you cannot attend, you must send a list. If you do not send a list, you will receive BPA (Best Pick Available). - If you have not paid prior to the draft your team will receive BPA. - If you have any questions or feel that there is something I missed, feel free to ask. ----------- If you're looking to download mIRC program: download.cnet.com/mIRC/3000-2150_4-10001733.html

So the UFA/RFA bidding starts on the 17th, as per the schedule, or right away?

will be on the 17th. got a few house cleaning issue to take care of first.
FYI I apologize in advance. I get cranky at UFA time because I swear peoples brains stop functioning when all a players costs is money. Worst part of running a league

How about a team has to post their 20 man roster with payroll before they are allowed to bid on players so a team cannot overbid by the 3 million leeway they're allowed?

How about a team has to post their 20 man roster with payroll before they are allowed to bid on players so a team cannot overbid by the 3 million leeway they're allowed? This could be a dumb question but is the salary cap based on the "pro roster" in the finance section of the index or is it based on a 20 man roster? What is the salary cap this year?

pro roster which maxes out at 23 players
43 million is the cap

Cap is at $43 million until the trade deadline and then it goes up to $44 million.
The cap is based on the "pro roster" of the finance section of the index, so if you want to carry 23 players on your pro roster, it must still be under the cap.

UFA Bidding appears to be crawling to a halt. Time to wrap up all the auctions maybe?
