-Players will be tracked under the archive section who have retired or are playing in Europe. Their rights are still tradeable, and they will be reactivated with their owning team when they come back to the AHL or NHL.
-All players/prospects who played 10 or more AHL and NHL games will be created in the league and they need to have contracts negotiated.
-All entry contracts will be for 3 years, the only exception is when a player is 29 years old at time of creation he signs a 2 year deal, when 30 he signs a 1 year deal and any older than 30 he signs a 4 year deal. The reason being a team should have the rights of a drafted player of theirs for as long as possible.
-Rookies cannot make more than 1.5 million on their ELC.
-A skater will lose their rookie status when they have played 15 or more BRHL games. For goalies the magic number is 5 games. This accrues over multiple seasons.
