so is the age 25 year rule referring to their real life age and if so as of what date or is it referring to their age in the sim which in some cases is off by as much as 3 years?

Oh, also Rickard Wallin belongs to Anaheim I belive. That was who I traded him too previous. I believe it would be on the Euro list.

also thought I bought out Alex henry...sent an email to Bryce,Ken and Jessie...any of you get it? If i don't get to this tonight, please bid as if it was done. I don't want to hold anybody back because of my busy schedule. The same goes for anyone else who has submitted a buyout to the league address by the deadline (haven't had a chance to check it since Tuesday)

David Phillips is all screwed up in the sim... RW David Phillips is the player listed with age 25, but that David Phillips didn't play last season. The David Phillips who played last season is a British defenseman, who is only 23. I guess he shouldn't be available.

If matching a RFA offer puts you over the cap, will that stop that possibility? For example, Florida is over 42 million on its payroll, so matching Backstrom's offer would put them over 45 million.
If we can't go over for UFAs, are we stopping anyone from matching an offer on an RFA?

I wish there was an easy way to track if people are over the cap... some people don't have much room and have a ton of bids.

Part of the problem as well is that the rosters showing on the index are not always the 20-man list. I submitted lines which leave me with about $7M in cap room, but the index shows way less because my changes weren't made. I assume this may be true of others.
In future, it might be good to get the lists from GMs and create a thread showing how much cap room each person has going in, so we can monitor it.

In an effort to allow cap crunched teams to fill out their farm roster, any contract offer on a UFA of 750k and under will not count against the cap during the bidding process. Please keep in mind though, that there is a 50 contract limit on players signed to contracts. If you go over this limit, fines will follow. It's 750k, not 1.5 million

The problem with your calculation is that I sent in new lines on August 17 and have made a trade. According to my own calculation I have about $4.5M in cap space... So stop worrying about me - I've got it under control. ;D

As a substiture for the ov values, we do have condition that guys must have played 5 games in AHL to be demoted

As a substiture for the ov values, we do have condition that guys must have played 5 games in AHL to be demoted Sorry but where is this listed in the rules? I can't speak for everyone else but I wasn't aware of this plus it wasn't enforced last season. It will seriously affect my team and contradict how I have been slowly putting it together.
