Hey guys, I just had my modem upgraded and am amazed at the results. This is WAY WAY faster than my old cable modem. I'm just curious where you all are at for speed?

Try a few times to get a good idea of where you are at. Your latency is higher than mine, how far away are you fom Vancouver? You may also be testing your modem during a peak period (evening).
Do you have the old Shaw modem? They came by today to take away my blue one that I have had for 5+ years and replaced it with a smaller black motarolla. I was even slower than you are.

Always choose the closest city to where you are. From Vancouver i got very good results. Tried from Mexico and it sucked. Florida and NY not too bad, but i got better results any where near Vancouver.

Yeah, I tried New York and the results were similar to Vancouver. I then tried Sydney, Australia and I barely broke 800 kb/s. Now my average is lower because of it.
