xbox360.ign.com/articles/802/802033p1.htmlNHL 08 looks to be the winner, already. If the TWO BIG additions pan out the way I envision them, then I can't wait. Create-A-Play: Store up to 45 set plays, as you manually can create and edit your own coaching scheme. Enter the offensive zone with the puck and stop at a certain point will set up an Offensive play that your AI teammates will react to. A huge feature, imo. I love the coaching aspect of Hockey, and to be able to customize it is even better. Better Defensive AI: It's promised every year, and it probably does get a little better at first. But once you figure out how to read the plays you start to feel like Neo in the Matrix. The game just slows down, and all you have to do is wait for the perfect moment to act. GOAL. This year, they're doing what NCAA Football and kinda what Madden has started to do, ANTICIPATE. Recording and reacting to your moves. Play a 7-game series, by game 7, you'll have to flip a coin to figure out what to do just so they won't expect it. If this game is even a half step above last years effort I'll be hooked. I've probably played well over 1000 games of NHL 07 (It's the biggest house game here with 4 other roommates who have become to fear Marian Gaborik more than the Boogeyman, it gets a ton of play). The skill stick separated the men from the boys. If it were up to me, I'd want them to make an impossible game to beat on the hardest level, just so I have something to strive for. Playing as Great Britain or Japan vs. Canada on the hardest difficulty should be a no brainer, but most of the time it's not. The EA NHL Series is proof that I'll never ever truly grow up. It's about 2 months away, but it's still more important that xmas. I can't wait!

It is my fondest dream that many years from now, when I am old and feeble and on my deathbed, someone will replay the final few moments of their fictitious EA NHL 2074 season, in which the Leafs win the Stanley Cup, on their Holo XBox 9000 - and the graphics will be so good I will die thinking it was finally true.

Next time through the playoffs the Blackhawks won it instead

The set play sounds really interesting, but I have never been a big fan of Skill stick I could use it and win (and do well) but I had no problem with they way it was and enjoy playing with the classic controls more.

bp3.blogger.com/_r8tWGVHrjGI/RulirxeV78I/AAAAAAAACAE/Js31hLZ6dvw/s1600-h/rbkedgesite.pngRBK EDGE Jersey code for NHL 08 Gives you the jerseys for the upcoming season. Have to say Dallas and San Jose are the worst. Almost look retro. Every other jerseys are fairly good. Nothing to complain about. I'm glad Minny adopted their 3rd jersey as now their home jersey. That's my 2nd favorite jersey behind the flames 3rd jersey the past couple years. INSTRUCTIONS: A the start up screen (the first screen you get to). go down to "MY NHL 08". Then go down to "RBK EDGE". And then type in the code

for those of you that havent played NHL 08 on xbox 360, i highly recommend it. It's the best hockey game I've ever played. Smartest computer AI. Your players actually setup down low properly. Can cycle in the corners as well.. the defense AI is also really good as they read off the plays and position themselves properly... WOWOW this game has forced me to buy an xbox 360!

WOWOW this game has forced me to buy an xbox 360! LOL. Having an XBOX 360 will force you to buy a PS3! For coming out almost a year later, the PS3 is a pretty modest improvement. Only positive thing it offers is Blue-Ray. I don't think it's got anything going for it over the 360. They're both good systems. P.S. Save the bologna about the 3 red lights. PS3 isn't any better.

My biggest beef is that there is no Fantasy draft in dynasty....like I mean...who puts out a sports game without a fantasy draft.
Daft.....just daft.

My Red light issue took about a Month, but most of that was me not heading down to Purolator. If I had actually picked it up when the box was first sent, shipped my system right away, and then picked it up right about it would have only been about 14-days total.
