Name one song that has not appeared (without hacking) on any of the series of Guitar Hero that you think should be. I'll go first: New Orleans is Sinking - The Tragically Hip www.youtube.com/watch?v=2y-ezKlKY9k(Not the actual music video though)

I'm going to break format and just list all the songs that I wish to be on a GH game.
More of a genre range. I like most of the range they have now, but I think that they should include any / everything with a guitar.
Here are the songs I like guitar-wise and would like to see: Anthrax - Indians The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps Between the Buried and Me - Alaska The Black Dahlia Murder - Miasma Clutch - Burning Beard Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home Cranberries - Zombie Deftones - Engine No. 9, Battle-Axe, Korea or Beware The Dillinger Escaper Plan - Jim Fear The Doors - House of the Rising Sun Dream Theater - In the Presence of Enemies Pt. 1 Endless Sporadic - Black Perl Ephel Duath - Ironic Communication Faith No More - Epic, Zombie Eaters or The Real Thing From Autumn To Ashes - Where Do You Draw The Line HORSE The Band - Octopus On Fire In Flames - Bullet Ride Jerry C - Cannon Rock John Frusciante - Ommission Killswitch Engage - Rose of Sharyn Lamb Of God - The Faded Line Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People The Mars Volta - Meccamputechture Mastodon - Seabeast Metallica - Seek and Destroy Nine Inch Nails - The Perfect Drug Oasis - Wonderwall Pantera - Walk, I'm Broken Radiohead - Creep, Karma Police Red Hot Chili Peppers - Mellowship Slinky in B major The Refused - New Noise Slayer - Morbid Angel Soulfly - Mulambo, Son Song Soundgarden - The Day I Tried To Live, Spoonman Sublime - Santeria, What I got The Sword - Iron Swan System Of A Down - Streamline, Toxicity, War Tenacious D - Beezleboss Unearth - Giles, So It Goes Weezer - Slob The White Stripes - Blue Orchid The Who - Pinball Wizard
Anything by: The Ramones - Green Day - Jewel - Bob Dylan -
Here are the genres and bands I think should be included: (Classic Pop Rock) - Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp,
(Nu Metal) - Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit,
(Country) - Don't know
(Pop) - Don't know
(Blues) - Just about anything
etc...
They need a wider range of genres. I'm not a huge fan of some of every genre / song I've listed, but I'd like to see them included. I'd like to play some more chord structured songs. mix it up, is all I'm saying.
Cannon Rock is my only mandatory song that needs to eventually be in a GH. Even though I'd have to play it on easy.

I'd prefer something with more melody. Some Eric Clapton would be great. How about Hotel California that'd be fun. I don't really like YYZ or War Pigs. How about some Pink Floyd!?

YYZ is a great selection because it challenges the player with the timing structure.
Same with War Pigs.

I agree with Pink Floyd, but if I chose an In Flames song, it would have to be December Flower
