Well I own both guys, here is what I think it does for my team.
Mike Peca to the Oilers should help his offensive stats. He is being counted on to be our top line center at this point, and will have more of a chance than ever to put up some offensive stats. His defense is well known, as is his toughness, it makes no sense saying that going from New York to Edmonton will improve his profile, but it will. The effect for Peca is great all the way around, and should only help his BRHL value, as he gets the chance to have an offensive role.
Mike York leaving Edmonton I think could help as well. York starts out like fire every year, but fades down the stretch. Playing in New York offers less travel, and hopefully more durability. He has played in New York before, so it won't be a culture shock to him. Possibly playing with Yashin, or Satan should help him as well. He should play on the PK and PP on the Island, and hopefully will put a full season together and increase his value.
I think it is a win-win situation for the guys dealt from a value perspective. Hopefully it will help the BRHL Wild now and in the future.
