Thought it lived up to the hype.
Won't try to spoil anything, but a nice blend of drama and action. While Venom and Sandman were done quite well.

Kirsten Dunst killed this movie for me. She was cute in Interview with a Vampire however they forgot to remove her fangs from her pebble-like teeth. *Shakes head* Mary Jane is supposed to be hot. Dunst is not. What's next Sandra Oh? At least Tobey Maguire remember his skillz so he can beat up his fans: thesuperficial.com/2007/04/tobey_maguire_is_an_asshole.php

Will be seeing Spidey 3 on Sat, I'm really looking forward to seeing Venom, although I think that he might disappoint since he has always been one of my fave villains, and I have to agree on Dunst MJ was supposed to be hot Dunst definitely is not IMO.

And Topher Grace as Venom? I'm sorry but Eddy Brock is a big guy. Topher Grace is NOT.

It's hard to match most of the super heroes and villians for their size, which is why many of them are cast for their personality.
There could a Long list of sizeable difference between the physical appearence of the comics and movies (The Joker, Colossus, etc.). If they picked a guy who was the same size, then most people would be complaining they can't act. I'd rather have the acting than the look.
I'd reserve judgement till you've seen in, but Venom was worth the wait till the 3rd installment of Spiderman. Plus the "birth" of Venom is almost as it was in the comic book.

That's cool. But honestly, Topher Grace? Thomas Hayden Church is PERFECT for Sandman though. Looks exactly like him

I thought it was a good movie.
Spiderman 2 was one of the best superhero movies ever made, so number 3 had a hard act to follow.
A little too much Emo Peter Parker for me, that got lame quick. The villians and special effects were done great. Alot of elements of the plot were done well, but it could have been better.

Just got back from seeing Spiderman 3 and I got to say I'm disappointed! I would only give it a 5 or maybe 6 out of 10, the action was great and venom was good, although not involved enough for my liking, but way too much drama (or at least attempted drama) and what the hell was the 5/10 min of Peter Parker dancing around like a dick, Venom was supposed to make him mean/bad not make him into an emo-kid that needs dance lessons.
I'm sure there will be people that love it, but it was definitely the weakest of the three and out of the big summer blockbusters I think this one will have the worst run.
